Feeling very unsettled tonight and yet right at home, if that makes any sense. I went to the last regular season hockey game tonight and it was senior night. We honored all 9 seniors plus the manager and they saluted the crowd and then we all sang the alma mater. I teared up through the whole thing. I can not express how much I love my school and how much I do not want to graduate in May. This place is my home. These people are my family. I have learned so much in the short 4 years I have spent here and the future ahead is hard to picture without this place.
Moving on is inevitable. But for now, I am going to take in as much of this place as I can.
Spartan for life.
Making. History.
I believe that we can win!!!
GO GREEN!
Not only did my Spartans beat our number one enemy, Michigan, with a score of 4 -3 they did so in a shootout where only WE scored. Hells to the yes. AND Kris Draper AND Chris Chelios sat within 10 feet of me and my dad. When he pointed this out to me I literally died and yelled out loud. It would have been rather embarrassing had I actually cared what other people thought. haha But I got to shake both their hands and tell them how I watched them when I was growing up religiously. They were both really nice and actually acted like they cared about meeting fans. Another reason why I love the Red Wings. =)
And to top it all off, I got to spend the whole day with one of the most fantastic people in my world: my dad. =)
Dreams do come true people. Believe it.
Revenge is coming. You don’t fuck with the Red Wings.
