Feeling very unsettled tonight and yet right at home, if that makes any sense. I went to the last regular season hockey game tonight and it was senior night. We honored all 9 seniors plus the manager and they saluted the crowd and then we all sang the alma mater. I teared up through the whole thing. I can not express how much I love my school and how much I do not want to graduate in May. This place is my home. These people are my family. I have learned so much in the short 4 years I have spent here and the future ahead is hard to picture without this place.
Moving on is inevitable. But for now, I am going to take in as much of this place as I can.
Spartan for life.
I used to love coming home so much. This is my first time home on over a month.
And I can’t wait to get back to State.

As much as I miss London
As much as I long for Chicago
As much as I dream of New York City
I hope my hometown stays the same.
